This page provides access to many photos of the CN2R contest station in Morocco. The photos show a history of the changes made to improve the station's performance. STATION DESIGN

The 3 towers are positioned in a 60 Meter triangle. They are labeled as the East West and South towers.

TOWER MANUFACTURING

The 3 towers were all manufactured in Morocco

 
EAST AND WEST TOWER ERECTION

The first two towers were installed in an 8 day period.

SOUTH TOWER ERECTION

The tower is 45 Meters high. This tower was painted prior to installation.

YAGI CONSTRUCTION

Yagi construction started in the spring of 2002.

YAGI INSTALLATION

Yagi installation started in August of 2002.

 

VERTICALS

The station has 2 verticals. A 160M shunt vertical and a 80M vertical.

RX ANTENNAS

Receive antennas consist of 2 K9AY Loop antennas and 2 beverages.

SIDEMOUNTS

Sidemounts were used to reduce the number of towers

FEEDLINES

There are ~30 feedlines. Most feedlines are H1000 Coax. All RF switching is done inside of the shack.
