 The 2 Element 80 Meter yagi was assembled, painted and marked in Oregon. The antenna is a modified Force12 Sigma Ultra. This photo shows the aluminum being painted. The antenna was shipped to Morocco. The boom and the element center sections are assembled.
Charki and Brihm attach the driven element to the boom. The tower lattice tapers down to 2 " aluminum. The philystran guy cable is attached.
The 2 " tubing tapers down to 1 inch. The 36 ft T-bar loading and marine guy cables are shown A full length view of the reflector. Antenna assembly required 3 days.
The stock relays were replaced with kilo-vac HC1 vacuum relays. These relays are used to move the antenna between phone and CW. Tuning the antenna required 2 full days. The antenna was tuned on the tram at a height of 18 meters.
